The Tehama -The Tehama religion of Yemen, is the entire coastline that borders the Red Sea, which is flat and mountain-less. Here we encountered fish markets and lively streets filled with a marine smell. Along with that we encountered more beautifully preserved cities, now littered with plastic bags and trash. It was easy to immediately pull back and act disgusted at the poor conditions, gritty fish markets, and lower standard of living, but it’s a developing country and its important to note that they are fighting limitations we never see or experience and are making a go of it, pretty impressive if one thinks about it. Living and having a capacity to live i should think is much more important than developing a capacity for being Green. Look at the slideshow from this area, and you’ll see what I mean.
