A bit of documentation on my travels through Denali National Park - home of Mount Denali, the "Great One." Or known in the lower 48 and most places as Mount McKinley - The world's Largest Mountain.

  • Morning breakfast - marmelade on alaskan toast
  • A pensive state bird
  • Ash and Greens
  • Vegetation Line
  • Velvetity afternoon
  • A little kettle pond before the One
  • Dinner ripples
  • Galavanting on tundra
  • Uncovering the veil
This National Park stands in the shadow of one thing. The mountain. There is no talk of anything else. Obviously, that is an exaggeration, but true to a certain extent. The entire park revolves around its majesty. But, I parks like this to be  fascinating because we are the only ones that recognize the beauty of Creation. The animals simply take it in stride as their habitat - yet its so foreign to us? Every trip I take to a National Park i am continually blessed by the sheer grandeur of nature and earth.
